The Rainbow Factory Studio Theatre, is welcoming Youth Action NI’s production of Calamity Jane to the theatre between August 10-15.
The production is an adaptation of the 1953 film of the same name starring Doris Day which is loosely based on the life of Wild West heroine Calamity Jane and explores an alleged romance between Calamity Jane and Wild Bill Hickok in the American Old West.
Calamity Jane has already sold out some of the nights and stars the Rainbow Factory cast as the movie’s most famous faces.
Including a live band and songs such as Windy City, Deadwood Stage and Secret Love the show has been supported by Valero Energy Ltd under Texaco brand, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Belfast City Council, Down Royal Racecourse and Arts & Business Northern Ireland.
