THREE of Northern Ireland’s best known comedians will be taking to the stage in Portstewart next weekend.
On Friday August 21, The Anchor Complex will open a third room at the venue to accommodate a new show Comedy Capers.
Comedians Neil Dougan, Sean Hegarty and Paddy McDonnell will kick off entertainmemt on the night.
Neil is best known for his comedy satire and being a regular compere at The Laughter Lounge. Â He is also the official warm up act for the BBC’s Nolan Show.
Neil’s writing credits include his own comedy sitcom for radio It’s Not Brazil, It’s Northern Ireland, The Nuala McKeever Show and Monumental.
He has also appeared on the Blame Game, Empire Laughs Back and One Night Stand.

Sean has gained a reputation as the king of one-liners and having toured with Patrick Kielty for the last three years he’s now making a big splash in the UK circuit.
Sean was runner-up in the 2014 UK Pun Championships and writes regularly for BBC Radio and also BBC Television’s highly successful Monumental programme.

Fresh from supporting Jason Manford, Paddy has supported many of comedy’s top stars including Paddy Kielty, Ardal O’Hanlon and Andrew Maxwell.
Paddy is well known for his refreshing and quirky take on life.

Also performing at the complex are Deja Vu and DJ Brian Moore.
