LONDON’S favourite alternative rock band Wolf Alice released their widely acclaimed debut album My Love Is Cool in June this year, leading NME to declare the band “2015’s most potential-packed band”.
The band’s breakthrough came only last year when they appeared on the BBC’s Sound Of 2015 long-list.
The group – which comprises of Ellie Rowsell, Joff Oddie, Joel Amey and Theo Ellis – were named one of iTunes’ Artists For 2014 and became the fourth most blogged artist of the year on the UK Hype Machine Blog. Not to mention they also won Best Breakthrough Artists at the UK Festival awards.
Their single Giant Peach rocked up a storm when it was released earlier this year alongside a long list of tour dates and festival appearances including Reading & Leeds…
But the buzz of Wolf Alice’s success if still circulating. The haunting video for newest single You’re A Germ premiered recently to an astounding online response, reaching 63K plays in a mere four days and the track has also moved up to Radio 1’s B-list this week.
