Moy Park Celebrates As Charity Campaign #DriveAnEggChallenge Raises £7.5k

STAFF at Moy Park are celebrating the success of its fund raising campaign with Cancer Fund for Children which to date has raised £7.5K for the charity.

The fundraising activity included a social media nomination campaign – #DriveAnEggChallenge – which reached over 425,000 people on Facebook, gained almost 50,000 views of video clips and 675 additional likes to the MoyParkChicken Facebook page.

As an official sponsor of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open, Moy Park developed the golf-themed social media nomination campaign to raise funds and awareness for Cancer Fund for Children.

The viral campaign asked people to video themselves driving an egg instead of a golf ball and then post it on Facebook or Twitter, nominating a friend to take the challenge and making a donation to the charity.
