FROM Italy to Ireland, and from the US to the Ukraine, up to 100 of the most innovative and forward-thinking startup companies that the tech scene has to offer will be on display as part of the ICONS Festival later this month.

Finalists are set to pitch live at the Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast on Friday September 25, with the winner getting the chance to go forward for final interview to join the prestigious 500 Startups accelerator programme based in Mountain View HQ, Silicon Valley.
The judging panel, which includes 500 Startups associate partner Marvin Liao, will also be filled by leading VCs, investors and mentors.
ICONS CEO Aaron Taylor said: “ICONS has attracted some of the world’s best and brightest startup companies, with a particularly strong showing in areas such as fintech, biotech, digital, software and robotics.
“It’s great to see such an eclectic mix of startup companies and we’re extremely excited by the calibre of applicants coming forward.”
Attending ICONS Festival will be the very best of startups from a range of areas which include:
Robotics – such as US startup Admetsys who are revolutionising the healthcare sector by producing high-tech robotics to real-time measure, model and treat patients
Fintech – representing the fintech industry all the way from France, are MoneyTis who aim to provide the fastest way to transfer money abroad
Wearables – MedExo Robotics from the UK have created an exoskeleton which is set to transform the healthcare industry
SaaS – Glistrr is the complete guest-listing solution for venues and event promoters, giving comprehensive knowledge on the influence level of each customer.
