UK 80’s Ska legends The Beat have toured the world with some of the biggest bands in history, including The Clash, REM and The Police and now they’ve announced a show in Belfast.
The Beat’s highly anticipated performance will take place at The Limelight on March 12 2016.
The band are highly praised for their catchy tunes, infectious live shows and the sound of their saxophonist which is always associated with their sound.
Formed in the working class suburbs of industrial Birmingham, England in 1978, The Beat arose at a time of high unemployment and social upheaval.
From the outset the band offered messages of hope and peace with an insight into sociopolitical topics.
