MASTERCHEF star John Torode cooked up a storm in Belfast recently as he arrived at St George’s Market to give a special cookery demonstration.
The celebrity chef gave onlookers top tips on how to prepare two dishes from his new cookbook My Kind Of Food.

Hundreds of foodie fans watched as the Australian-born presenter was joined by Ciaran Meyler, McGuigan Wine ambassador, to help pair each dish with a McGuigan wine.
John told the Belfast fans that he was “excited” to be back in the city following his appearance at the Northern Ireland Food & Drink Show last year.
“Belfast is such a lovely city with beautiful architecture and lovely people with a smile on their faces” he said, adding: “If I can inspire one person to go home and try what they see I will have done my job.”
John also admits there’s a special buzz he gets from cooking in front of a live audience.
He said: “I like the reaction. I love to see people laugh. I love people smiling and enjoying themselves and I love that people might walk away and have actually learnt something.”
The telly chef then faced the crowds as he signed copies of his new book My Kind of Food in Easons, Donegall Place, Belfast.
My Kind Of Food is out now.
