Iconic Soul Group The Drifters Set For Belfast Return This Month

SOUL group The Drifters are set for a Belfast return later this month.

The iconic group will play the Waterfront Hall on Friday October 23 after a sold out event in 2014.

The legacy of the legendary band continues with their new Rebranded Tour alongside a UK Arena Tour where they perform alongside Dionne Warwick, Roberta Flack & Mary Wilson of The Supremes in London, Birmingham & Manchester.

With over 65 members in over 62 years the legacy continues with the current line up. After their unrivalled success on previous world tours we are back with The Rebranded World Tour that is the best yet.

The Drifters have seen massive chart success on both sides of the Atlantic and across the world, with sales of over 114 million albums and 214 million singles alongside a vast catalogue of hits.

Now in their 61st year, the dynasty continues.

The current line-up has rebranded The Drifters with new releases on both of their former labels Atlantic Records in 2009 and Sony Music in 2011.

The Rebranded Tour reflects on The Drifters brand through the decades with a two hour show of wall to wall hits including: Under The Boardwalk, Saturday Night At The Movies, Up On The Roof, Kissin In The Back Row and More Than A Number In My Little Red Book as well as some lesser known back catalogue and brand new recording – all a part of the legacy of hits handed down over the years.

Tickets priced from £24 are on sale now from the Waterfront & Ulster Hall box-office 028 9033 4455 or online at www.waterfront.co.uk
