Celebrate Halloween at One of Ireland’s Most Haunted Houses

ARE you brave enough to visit one of Ireland’s most haunted houses this Hallowe’en?

As you walk through the dark and eerie woodlands of 17th-century Springhill House and Estate, a shiver is sure to course through your veins.

The National Trust invites you to Haunted House on the Hill at Springhill, Moneymore from 29-31 October.

Speaking about the new experience, Claire Anthony, at Springhill said: “This is a completely new experience for Hallowe’en and is very much aimed at the adult audience. We think it really is too scary for kids! The story is truly unique, and we believe it will send a chill down your spine!

“The year is 1685 and William Conyngham, the owner of Springhill House, is at the end of his tether. The people of Moneymore and those that live on his estate are terrified of a headless horseman. In the last three weeks four people have died. Local people claim they died after the appearance of an illusive horseman.

“We invite you to come and experience this story for yourself. And you never know… you could be the next victim. Terror strikes around every corner and in every nook and cranny… be prepared to meet the unexpected!”

Visitors can expect to encounter witnesses of the headless horseman and will be tasked with navigating their way through ancient woodlands amidst freshly dug graves.

Haunted House on the Hill takes place at Springhill, Moneymore from 29-31 October.
