Prepare To Be Spooked At Rowallane Garden

NATIONAL Trust property Rowallane Garden will take visitors on an eerie adventure this Halloween as they get set for the autumn season.

halloween rowallane garden 2Autumn fun in spooky costumes is available for children, as well as ‘50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾’, which will include everything from hunting for bugs, to catching a falling leaf and playing conkers.

Plus, every weekend throughout October (excluding 17 & 18) the café will be open for little witches and wizards to dunk their apples in molten chocolate.

Although the café won’t be open on 17 and 18 October, visitors can enjoy a spook-tacular Ghosts and Gourds weekend.

The Garden will come to life with a terrifying ghost trail, spooky stories, and sinister characters from the Premiere Circus – plus the younger children can be transformed with fearsome face painting.

To top off the day, children are welcome to behead, scoop out and carve their very own pumpkin.

Ghosts and Gourds takes place 12pm – 5pm on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October.  Normal Admission applies with National Trust Members Free Admission. For more information log onto www.nationaltrust.org.uk/rowallane-garden
