Mercury Prize Nominated Alternative Rock Band Wolf Alice Announce Belfast Headline Show

MERCURY Prize nominated British alternative rock four piece Wolf Alice have announced a Belfast show in Mandela Hall on March 4 next year.

Following on from their sold-out UK tour, London’s Wolf Alice their latest single Freazy is taking the charts by storm.

Taken from their acclaimed #2 charting, Mercury Prize nominated debut album, My Love is Cool, Freazy serves as the band’s most out-and-out pop moment; seeing lead singer Ellie Rowsell’s vocal float effortlessly over the top of a shuffling groove, acting as a perfectly hazy end to the summer and a welcome to the coming winter months.

With a video set to follow and the band now on the U.S stretch of their album tour, Freazy is the latest single to be taken from their Mike Crossey-produced debut.

My Love Is Cool – equal parts gigantic guitars and wistful, wilting beauty – is a timeless collection of songs that outweighs any preconceived notions of what Wolf Alice are, or can be, and sees their ambitions fully realised in stunning widescreen.

My Love is Cool is out now on Dirty Hit Records.

Tickets priced £16 for Wolf Alice at the Mandela Hall on Friday March 4 are on sale Friday October 23 from www.limelightbelfast.com, www.ticketmaster.ie Katy’s Bar & Ticketmaster outlets nationwide, 0844 277 44 55
