11 Action for Children Northern Ireland representatives have scooped top awards for their outstanding contributions to the charity.
The winners celebrated at a House of Lords ceremony when they collected a coveted Stephenson Award – Action for Children’s annual recognition of the outstanding contribution made to the leading charity by staff, foster carers, volunteers, supporters and the children, young people and families that they support.
Winners included Action for Children NI’s Operational Services Director Dawn Shaw who has been instrumental in the growth and success of the charity here over the past 15 years.
Other winners included foster carers, early years leaders, family support practitioners and young carers from across the country.
