Belfast Bar Scoops Top Irish Craft Cocktail Award

BELFAST cocktail bar, A.P.O.C has won the Best Bar Ulster award at the 2015 Irish Craft Cocktail Awards.

The luxury bar located on Lower Garfield street, Belfast came top over The Merchant Hotel and Love & Death at the award ceremony, which took place at The Odeon, Dublin on Sunday December 6.

A.P.O.C (Arranged presence of company) is the new and exciting cocktail bar opened on Goose Entry, Lower Garfield Street, Belfast. A.P.O.C is the first of its kind in Belfast and offers customers a high end drinks experience with the added luxury of advance booking in a beautiful blend of art nouveau and Titanic drawing rooms inspired setting.

A.P.O.C was the result of a 70 thousand pound investment by owners Anthony Farrell and Brian McGeown and will employs 7 additional staff.

“I have always felt the need to push myself and the team to our limits and I am so excitied about this project.

“I used to have a fear of reaching perfection, but experience has taught me that excellence is through simplicity and specifics. APOC isn’t just a place of cocktail or conversation it’s the tip of the spear for what we do here.

“It absolutely defines the hard work and level at which we are, have been and constantly strive towards – I truly love it” said co-owner, Anthony Farrell.
