This week saw the release of a new trailer for season six of Game of Thrones and given that this is the season that departs from the original books, we could be in for a few twists and turns over the coming months according to bookmakers William Hill.
At the end of last series we were left with the impression that Jon Snow had met his grizzly doom, yet it is just 1/33 that he is confirmed alive in the first episode of the new series.
It is 5/1 that fans’ favourite Tyrion Lannister dies in series six and 6/1 that Daenerys Targaryen does. Cersei Lannister and Arya Stark are 8/1 and 10/1 respectively to bite the bullet.
“Despite the fact that this series will not be dictated by the books and George R.R. Martin’s wont to kill every character you become attached to, the series will still want to maintain what made it great in the first place and there could yet be a couple of killings to keep us on our toes,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
