Moy Park ‘turns up the heat’ in Belfast!

To celebrate Northern Ireland’s Year of Food and Drink, Moy Park has ‘turned up the heat’ in Belfast city centre and brought its oven outdoors to Castle Place.

With Easter just around the corner Moy Park is reminding  the NI public through its ‘bus shelter oven’ that the holidays are the perfect time to ‘make the most of the roast’ when enjoying dinner with family and friends. The bus shelter in Castle Place has been transformed, complete with temperature gauge and working timer to promote the company’s innovative Roast in the Bag product range.

Briege Finnegan, Brand Marketing Manager for Moy Park said: “We launched the Moy Park Roast in the Bag range in April 2015 and it has proved to be extremely popular with shoppers. The whole chicken comes in a pack that can go straight into the oven from the supermarket shelf – no need to pierce or open the bag.

“The NI Year of Food & Drink provides a fantastic backdrop for food companies to get on board and have some fun while promoting fantastic local produce – and that’s exactly what we’ve done with our oven! We also wanted to capitalise on the unique ‘straight-to-oven’ nature of the product.

“Our cuddly mascot Moy P will be at Castle Place on Easter Monday – handing out money off coupons and you could be in with a chance to win restaurant voucher and a Moy Park goody bag by entering our social media competition – all you need to do is upload your selfie in the outdoor oven to the Moy Park Chicken Facebook page!”
