Makes 12 mini sliders
Preparation 10 mins, cooking 20 mins. Preheat grill to moderate heat
400g NI minced pork
200g NI pork sausage meat
1 large garlic clove, crushed
1 small egg, lightly beaten
60g bread crumbs
2 tablespoons shop bought apple sauce, 1 apple, grated
1 handful of fresh parsley, chopped.
Salt and pepper
To serve
12 mini burger buns, cut in half with baby salad leaves and shop bought Chutney.
Method
Mix the slider ingredients together and divide into 12 balls. Flatten the balls into burger patties roughly 2 ½ inches in diameter.
Grill under a moderate heat for 5 – 10 minutes on each side until golden brown and thoroughly cooked. Set aside to rest and keep warm while you toast the burger buns.
Place each slider onto a bun, top with baby leaves and a little chutney.
