The princess power will be turned up to eleven at this year’s Belfast Comic Con, with Adventure Time‘s Hynden Walch and Jessica DiCicco – the voices of Princess Bubblegum and Flame Princess – both appearing at MCM’s annual pop culture celebration.
Voted Voice Actress of the Year by the BTVA in 2015, Jessica DiCicco has gained a cult following as the much-loved ‘toon’s feisty Flame Princess.
Her other credits include Ash Samaya in Rooster Teeth’s X–Ray & Vav, both Tambry and Giffany on the BAFTA-winningGravity Falls, Malina from classic Disney Channel show The Emperor’s New School, the evil Selina in Winx Club, real-life puppy Freddy on Disney’s Dog With a Blog, Toby in Sheriff Callie’s Wild West, Lexi Bunny on Loonatics Unleashed and, most recently, the iconic SuperGirl in the just-released Lego: Justic League Cosmic Clash.
You can also hear Jessica on the brand new show DC Girls, where she plays both Star Sapphire and Lashina.
Meanwhile, upcoming roles include brand new Nickeolodeon show The Loud House, in which Jessica stars as two main characters, Rolling With the Ronks, a new Disney Channel UK show that sees Jessica star alongside voice of Spongebob Tom Kenny and a couple of top secret high-profile videogames!
Also a multiple BTVA Award winner, top voice actor Hynden Walch is best known toAdventure Time fans as the show’s pink-themed, scientifically-inclined heroine, Princess Bubblegum.
Other roles include Starfire inTeen Titans and Teen Titans Go!, Harley Quinn in The Batman and Batman: Assault on Arkham, Princess Python in Avengers Assemble, Lockette and Amore in Winx Club, and Platinum and Carbon Dioxide in Batman: The Brave and the Bold. She also appears in new Disney shows Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero andStar vs. the Forces of Evil.
Meanwhile, anime fans will recognise Hyndenin Isao Takahata’s acclaimed, Academy Award-nominated movie The Tale Of The Princess Kaguya. She is also the voice of Nia in studio Gainax cult classic Gurren Lagann, Yutaka in Lucky Star and Emiri Kimidori in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
