Mental Health support group Big Bro Belfast have unveiled an incredible new mural on the gable wall of the Suicide Awareness building on Falls Road, Belfast
The idea for the mural came about last year when Mark Evison from Big Bro and Margaret Walker from the Suicide Awareness charity envisioned a large scale art piece that would let the community know there is support out there for anyone in need.
Mark then teamed up with Darren Livingstone from Sink the Ink tattoo studio and street artist Eoin McGinn who came up with a rough sketch. Mark, Darren and Eoin began prepping the wall last Thursday and yesterday (July 20) revealed the stunning finished piece.
Mark said: “Eoin finished his art work today and as you can see the end result is excellent. The mural has been warmly welcomed by the Falls community and we hope it sends a positive message to those who are feeling isolated by mental health problems or at risk of suicide.”
Check out the mural at the Suicide Awareness building, 209 Falls Road and connect with Big Bro on Facebook.
