Clayton Hotel To Host Yellow Fever Independent Film Festival Awards Ceremony

Join us this November (18 – 20) for the very best in international independent films, both short and feature length. From over 100 submissions, award winning local director George Clarke and his team spent a strong month in selecting the very best in the horror, thriller, action and grindhouse genres.

thumbnail_frankbikersWith almost 20 films screening over the weekend, from high impact martial arts action to gore filled horror, the self funded independent festival reaches its 7th year, with film makers attending from all over the globe.

Usually based in the Movie House, Dublin Road, this years events saw a last minute reshuffle next door to the fantastic Clayton Hotel where the closing black-tie event, the red carpet Gala Dinner Award Ceremony, is always held. The whole event will now take place in the hotel for 2016, with a return to MHC next year.

With limited seating, screenings will be based on a first come, first seated basis. A full schedule of the films screening and running times are available on the YFIFF website, and definitely includes some fantastic films well worth seeing! The closing film will be a classic movie accompanied once again, by musical maestro Paul McMordie playing live as it screens.
