Filming for Game of Thrones Season 7 is in full swing and last week The Outlook’s “eye in the sky” captured a rather winter-y looking set in The Mournes.
Annette Hannah who plays Little Bird Frances
Also spotted arriving in Belfast was Little Bird Frances, played by 11 year old Annette Hannah. It was just a flying visit, however, and she was soon jetting off elsewhere. Where could she be going, I wonder?
A source said: “I can neither confirm or deny she is in season 7.” Hmm…
Spain and Iceland have also been confirmed as Season 7 filming locations, so it is possible she is off to either. This could suggest further scenes in King’s Landing, or potentially an icy encounter with The Wall.
The snowy area pictured in Northern Ireland is near the Kinnahalla Road outside Hilltown, according to The Outlook. The Mournes are now alive with action, although we haven’t been able to identify which actors are filming at the location.
The false-snowed fields are found in the area of Kinnahalla Rd., outside Hilltown, according to The Outlook. And while the location was still under construction on Monday, today the Mournes set is fully alive with actors on horseback and cameras.
Time will reveal all, but for now GoT fans are chomping at the bit for sneak peaks into filming of the highly anticipated season which is set to air in summer 2017.
