SSE Airtricity, The SSE Arena, Belfast and M & J Pantos have combined forces to announce Northern Ireland’s newest and biggest Christmas pantomime, THE SPECTACULAR ALADDIN, to be produced at The SSE Arena, Belfast in December 2017.
The X Factors’ favourite Rydian will play the evil Abanazer and joining him will be everyone’s panto favourite, Ross Anderson-Doherty, as the Genie. At the helm of the show will be two of Northern Ireland’s leading theatre directors, Dan Gordon and Martin Lynch with musical maestro Conor Mitchell.
Take a journey to Old Peking and meet old Widow Twanky and her poor son Aladdin. Times are tough but Aladdin’s life is dramatically changed when he falls in love with the most beautiful woman in the Kingdom, the Princess Jasmine.
Enter the most evil baddie in the Kingdom, Abanazer. Will the evil Abanazer destroy Aladdin’s dreams to get rich and marry the Princess? Will the Genie ever get his freedom? Will you and your family have the best time of Christmas 2017?
