The 1975 release their new single “Loving Someone” through Dirty Hit/Polydor on February 24. Loving Someone is taken from their critically-lauded second album “I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it” which was named Album Of The Year in Q and NME and featured prominently in end of year reviews.

The album debuted at Number 1 in both the UK and US chart, with sales of over 900,000 to date and was one of the top six shortlisted Albums of the Year at the prestigious Mercury Prize 2016, also winning the public vote.

The band have recently been nominated for two BRIT Awards for British Group and British Album of the Year, and will be performing at the ceremony at The O2 in London on 22 February.

The 1975 have announced their biggest North American headline tour to date including a now sold out night at New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden on 1 June. This follows their recent sold out arena tour of the UK which included two triumphant nights at The O2 in London – the first of which sold out in less than 3 hours.

American Grammy nominated DJ Duo and global chart phenomenon The Chainsmokers announce they will make their Northern Irish debut appearance on June 26 2017, performing an open air concert at Ormeau Park, Belfast.

The Chainsmokers, comprised of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, have evolved into a dominating musical force with a diverse repertoire of songs that have led them to become today’ s hottest young artist/producer duo.

With a signature sound that deftly reaches across indie, progressive and pop realms, their original tracks and remixes have topped the charts throughout the world. Their evolution as producers and as songwriters has seen them dial up some of the biggest breakthrough songs of the year.

Luminous tracks such as the double-platinum “Roses” featuring Rozes (which Stereogum hailed as one of the “10 best songs of the year”) and the chart-topping “Bouquet” EP have fueled their ascent as a breakout duo with an unparalleled ability to craft undeniable pop gems.

“Roses,” which reached the Top 5 at Pop Radio and Top 5 on the iTunes Top Songs chart, was followed by “Don’t Let Me Down” featuring Daya, marking their third No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

The double-platinum track ruled the airwaves, hitting No. 1 at Pop Radio for three straight weeks and Top 5 on the iTunes Top Songs chart. The Chainsmokers recently released their current single “Closer” featuring vocals from rising star Halsey and the duo’s own Drew Taggart.

The track marks their first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and their third Top 10 on the chart this year, shooting to the #1 spot on iTunes and Spotify upon release and bringing their worldwide streams to over 1.5 billion.

This year, The Chainsmokers have been nominated for two Billboard Music Awards, two Teen Choice Awards and two MTV Video Music Awards.

They have performed all over the world to sold-out crowds at their own headline shows and major festivals including SXSW, Ultra and Coachella, where their set was ranked as one of Billboard’s “11 Best Moments” of the festival.
