Music has always played a huge part in the film industry. Nothing adds to the events on your screen quite like the accompaniment of a brilliant score.
Before today’s technological advances, cinemas employed live performers poised to add the proper musical accents on cue to enhance the experience of their audience.
Though times have changed, you still can’t beat the power of a great musical score performed live by talented musicians.
It is in this spirit that the Black Box, as part of the Belfast Film Festival, presents the Ulster String Quartet with Rebekah McCann-Williams, along with host Tim Burden, a film music professional on 4th April 2017.
