Q Radio listeners are tuning in for an average of 6.9 hours per week, with 43% in the 25 – 44 year old age bracket.

Managing Director and Head of Programmes at Q Radio, Robert Walshe said: “We have a brilliant line up of presenters and music, which means that once a new listener discovers us, they tend to stay with us!

“The key to our success is our ability to connect with and establish close bonds with our listeners, understanding the type of content they want and what’s important to them in a local radio station.

“That in turn allows us to strengthen our relationships with our commercial partners, which is a crucial part in allowing us to continually evolve and innovate the way that we do things.
