On The Town [September]: Titanic, Tony Blackburn & A Mad Hatter’s Tea Party!

This month, I attended the official opening of the beautiful Titanic Hotel in Belfast. The £28m restoration and renovation of the former Harland & Wolff drawing offices has transformed the building!

There are some beautiful views of the Quarter, and you can see the Harland & Wolff cranes to the east of the building, with the slipways to the west, where the SS Nomadic restaurant is currently located. The tour was fantastic, and the interior absolutely gorgeous!

I was delighted to be invited to the launch of the new Q Radio headquarters this month, where I got chatting to a whole host of Q Radio starts, including radio royalty, Tony Blackburn! The offices and studio look fab, and the launch was a real success!

Belfast’s newest bar, The Doyen, was officially opened earlier this month at the site of the former King’s Head on the Lisburn Road, and I was lucky enough to be invited. The Doyen is a super stylish café bar that specialises in delicious crafted coffee and brunch, before turning into a prosecco, gin and cocktail bar in the evening, which is perfect.  There’s an Italian style restaurant upstairs, and a gastropub menu downstairs, so there really is something for everyone.  The venue is gorgeously decorated, I highly recommend you check it out.

Finally, this month I helped to create a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party themed window display for Lulu Blu Fashion Boutique in Holywood for Holywood Culture Night. Our window won the Culture Night Window Display Competition, which was great, and overall I had a great time choosing the clothes and developing the window with my publicist Tina Calder and the staff at the shop.
