If you’re already starting to think about your Spring/Summer 2018 wardrobe think candy coloured pastels.
These chalky, bright and colourful tones are perfect for showing off the perfect golden tan and will help put a spring in your step as the winter months begin to dissipate.
There are many ways to make pastels work for you but my top tips are:
Single colour statement
Stick to one pastel tone throughout that perfectly contrasts with your skin and hair colouring and see how just one single colour all over can make a subtle but bold statement.
Mix it up
If you are choosing to wear more than one pastel it’s a good idea to go overboard, use lots of coordinating chalky tones for an eye catching look that is pretty and elegant.
Texturise
There’s nothing more elegant than a classy mix of textures with tasteful colour choices, use the clothing cuts and textures to make your statement.
Bold statement
Using bright, vibrant colours or neutrals to showcase your pastels can really give them the edge. Â Use them to brighten up and soften darker colours or add more colour to bland neutrals.
