5 Ways to Start Preparing for Starting A-Levels

Its that time of year again. School is about to start back and we are all stressed about what we are going to do. Well personally I am planning to do my A-Levels… I hope anyways. But just incase i can get back in, i have been researching and found 6 ways to prepare for A-Levels.

1. Get Yourself Organised
The first thing you should do is get yourself organised.to do this you go to the shops, buy some equipment like pens, folders, and a diary. Should probably get some more things but i’m not going into that much detail. This will get you sorted for going back into school.

2. Get in routine
By now you should already know, your routine is probably a mess. In summer your routine goes from night to morning to the complete opposite. Because of this the first day of school is always a complete mess. Thats why i’m telling you now to get that sleep cycle back into routine before the first day back to school completely destroys you and breaks you. This is a feeling you probably remember from the last 10 years of school!

3. Think about what you want
By now, you should hopefully have some idea of what you want to be in the future. This is a really good as it will help you choose your A-Levels. Think about the job and what it involves to choose the subjects involved in it. You should also look into university if it’s something you are wanting to do as it will tell you if you need specific courses for it.

4. Get in the right headspace
A-Levels are extremely stressful. So some advice is to find a way to stay relaxed so you don’t get to stressed. You need to prepare for how tough it is going to be and be able to stay up to date with work. Being stressed will just make it harder for you and would be a burden on your emotional and physical health.

5. Get good GCSEs
It’s probably a bit late, but you need to get good GCSEs to do A-Levels. This may give you an idea of some of the subjects you may choose. It is also in the points system to actually let you back into school. So, if it’s too late for that advice, just hope for the best on results day.
