Belfast Electronic Duo Bicep Confirm Homecoming Show

Electronic duo Bicep are headed home to perform a show in Belfast at The Telegraph Building this November.
The critically acclaimed live show, which has been doing the festival circuit all summer including Coachella, Glastonbury, Sonar, Pitchfork Festival, Primavera, Reading and Leeds with more to come, will take place on Saturday November 3.
Last year saw the Belfast duo release their debut album, launch their new live show and tour the world.
Their record Bicep, out now on Ninja Tune, went in at #20 in the album charts and was lauded by the likes of Pitchfork, Resident Advisor and Mixmag, who picked it as album of the year and put them on their front cover.
The dance act, consisting of Andy Ferguson and Matt McBriar, formed in 2009 as a production and DJing pair in London.
In 2013, two of Bicep’s EP releases, $tripper, Vision of Love, as well as the track Mixxmaster 88 on Wolf Music’s self-titled EP, all rose to number one in the Juno Charts.
And more recently a series of well-received singles, including Glue, Rain and Vale has reinforced their rise to the top alongside a remix of Opal by iconic producer and DJ Four Tet made for a big dance 12”.
According to tour promoters this new live show “embraces the idea of immersion” and allows Bicep to “take a different tack at each show, and places them in and amongst the visuals, creating a visceral experience”.
Tickets for Bicep at The Telegraph Building on Saturday November 3 are on sale now from www.shine.net, www.ticketmaster.ie and Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
