A number of bloggers and aspiring bloggers from across Northern Ireland will be kick starting a new 6-week blogging course at Lisburn City Library tonight (Thursday 1st November). The course comes hot on the heels of Libraries NI’s first ever Blogging Inspiration Session at Ormeau Road Library, Belfast last month where ten established bloggers revealed the secrets of their success.
Presented by TrainingMatchmaker.com the course Get Blogging is a free six-week evening course where a team of trainers, supported by local active bloggers, will teach course participants not just what they need to know but provide real time examples of successful blogging practices, and guide attendees through which tools are currently available to aid in the running and development of their blog, as well as being on hand to offer practical help and support throughout the duration of the course.
The course modules include everything from what is blogging, how to get started, and creating, marketing and distributing content, as well as looking at everything from building audiences, readership and engagement, to commercialising, monetising, legals and ethics, measuring success, and the cost of blogging itself.
