Belgian brothers Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike are the second headline act to be previewed ahead of their much sought after show at Belsonic next Friday.
The DJs, who ranked first in the DJ Mag Top 100 in 2015, becoming the first duo to do so, have travelled the world miles over and are one of the most respected artists in the EDM industry due to their longevity as producers at the highest level. They have finished second in the DJ Mag Top 100 poll every year since 2016, highlighting their ability to continue to dominate the global electronic music scene. It’s fair to say that they have come a long way from the tiny Flemish town of Willebroek where they were born.
They now have their own summer residency in Ushuaïa Ibiza, the third year in a row that they have got a slot at one of the most prestigious clubs in the world playing every Tuesday from May until September to near sellout crowds, as well as playing huge dance festivals such as Tomorrowland and Creamfields year on year.
Their live combination of a set jam-packed with great tunes, crowd-busting MCing from Like Mike and fun-filled crowd interaction throughout has propelled them into global stars, along with their collaborations with the biggest stars in music such as Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, David Guetta and Ne-Yo. Their biggest hit, ‘Tremor’ produced with fellow EDM superstar Martin Garrix has amassed over 531 million views on Youtube whilst ‘Crowd Control’, whereby the DJs get the crowd to move in time with the song is quite the sight live.
Whilst predominantly famous for producing big room house hits the duo have also dabbled in a bit of everything from progressive house, to hardstyle, to psytrance, to trap and even Dutch house throughout the years. More recently they have also crossed over into mainstream pop with songs such as ‘Selfish’ and ‘Complicated’ placing first on the US Billboard Dance Club Song.
They come with great supporting acts as British trio Disciples and French DJ Hugel arrive to back up the Belgians. Disciples shot to fame in 2015 with their collaboration with Calvin Harris on ‘How Deep is Your Love’ that peaked at number 2 on the UK Singles Chart. They went on to release another hit single with ‘On My Mind’ in 2017 which again proved to be a popular dance song, which went gold and stayed in the charts for 22 weeks. They return to Belfast having supported Tiesto at Tennants Vital in August 2017.

Hugel is another respected DJ on the line-up and enjoyed great success with his remix of El Profesor’s ‘Bella Ciao’ being named the Official German Summer Hit 2018. He has remixed songs for and worked with top artists like Charlie Puth, David Guetta, Robin Schulz, J. Balvin, Tiesto, Taio Cruz, and  Post Malone, as well as playing in massive festivals across the world including Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, and Parookaville.

It is set to be a superb night for all rave fans out there and tickets are still available from Ticketmaster at a price of £27 plus booking fee.
