Belfast favourite Ben Nicky returns to the capital for Belsonic 2019 on the 21st June after selling out shows in Custom House Square and the SSE Arena last year.
The Bristol native has become, over the last few years, one of dance music’s busiest and strongest selling DJs in the world. He has sold out major global iconic venues on his own such as the Ministry of Sound in London and the Marquee in Sydney whilst regularly featuring on the world’s largest festival line ups including Tomorrowland, EDC, Ultra Music Festival, Creamfields, Spring Awakening and many more.
His recent releases have been signed to some of the biggest record labels in Mad Decent, Ultra & Spinnin’ Records and he is renowned for an enchanting live set that includes a wide variety of dance genres such as trance, psytrance, techno, hardstyle, and bounce. Some of his biggest hits include his song ‘Pirates’, with Will Sparks which has amassed over 1 million plays on Spotify,  bounce tune ‘The Donk’ with Callum Higby and of course his remix of Ayla’s ‘Ayla’ which was produced together with Luke Bond.

His success does not lie solely with music, he has recently collaborated with clothing brand 11° for his own Ben Nicky clothing range and has built up a huge social media following due to his regular interaction with fans that have made him one of the most popular DJs in the industry.
There will be an array of talent backing the English DJ up at Ormeau Park with Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano, Rank I, Flip ‘n’ Fill and Gleave announced as the four supporting acts for the show.
Dutch duo Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano, have themselves enjoyed international success, playing at last year’s Tomorrowland festival, in both the summer and winter editions, as well as playing Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Their song ‘Lethal Industry’ was later remixed by the legendary DJ Tiesto and they themselves have collaborated with some highly respected DJs such as Nicky Romero on the track ‘S.O.T.U’ which landed at number 2 on the Beatport Top 100 upon its release in 2013. They are sure to deliver a set filled with their distinct tribal sound that they have honed over the years.

Rank 1 are a Dutch trance group who have been active since 1997. Many view them as the creators of the Dutch trance sound and their most famous song is arguably the uplifting ‘Airwave’ which has over 2.8 million views on Youtube since its release over 9 years ago. They are sure to captivate any trance lovers there early enough to see their set at Belsonic.
