On The Town With Patience [December]: Younique Aesthetics Clinic Opening

Earlier this week I was invited to attend the opening of the new Younique Aesthetics Clinic in Belfast on Chichester Street, which was opened by Pamela Laird who is currently starring on The Apprentice on BBC.

Younique Aesthetics is a private, non-surgical cosmetic practice providing non-invasive aesthetic innovative solutions to revitalise tired skin and treat common skin complaints such as pigmentation, scarring, acne and rosacea. Younique Aesthetics is a part of the Younique Group, starting more than 15 years ago as part of Younique’s overall commitment to innovation and care.

I arrived to the event a little early and was very impressed by the new clinic, it was lovely inside, very aesthetically pleasing and somewhere I would definitely love to go for a treat. The event was very busy and it was great to see so many people coming out to support a new business in Belfast.

I spoke directly to the Younique Clinic Owner Aine Larkin and she was very helpful in explaining some of the treatments I was interested in, she fully explained the results I should expect and the downtime for each of the treatments. Her knowledge really put me at ease and made me feel like if I was to attend the clinic I would definitely be in safe hands.

I also spoke to a nice lady who had attended the Newry clinic previously for many treatments and she spoke very highly of the business and was impressed with the treatments she had previously gotten at the clinic.

I actually am not someone who usually goes to get a facial done but I was very impressed with some of the treatments on offer and would definitely consider starting to get them now. The Pro Facial that the clinic offers sounded very relaxing and something that would be great to do after I have been dancing all week.

I was also particularly interested in the Micro Derma Needling Treatment I heard about. It involves stimulating the collagen you already have in your body to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

For my outfit for the event I chose to go for a classic monochrome look, I think it’s very easy to wear an all black and white outfit and then if you want to add a splash of colour you can do that with your accessories. It’s all about getting the correct silhouette really, as long as you are wearing the correct shape to suit your body anyone can pull off this sort of outfit. I think tailoring can work really, blazers and tailored coats are perfect to pull off this type of outfit.
