Randy people in Belfast are showing off their sexual prowess with couples enjoying themselves in hotel rooms right by the window, according to a survey.
And, it seems that across the UK, there are thousands who get turned on by having sex in public, and with fantasies of doing the dirty in public.
In the last month alone there were 10,290 internet searches for ‘sex outside’ leading to End of Tenancy London surveying people in large towns and cities across the UK.
Belfast wasn’t the only city to open the hotel room curtains, with 52% of those surveyed admitting they had done the deed.
End of Tenancy London analysed Google search terms and conducted a nationwide survey to find out where in public people have had sex, which location is their ultimate fantasy, and which city favours where when it comes to making love outside.
While ‘dogging’ has spawned numerous jokes, and websites dedicated to it, something about having sex in a car must chime with a lot of folks, with 55% admitting they had done just that.
This isn’t that surprising. Last year, private reg company click4reg.co.uk found 1,000 people in the UK ask Google ‘how to have sex in a car’ every single month – which shows how dedicated people are to learning the right manoeuvres.
However, stats suggest one-third of drivers only clean their car once a year (the gear stick alone harbours 3x more dirt than a toilet seat!) so you might want to give everything a wipe down before and after doing the deed.
As to the hotel room by the window End of Tenancy London found 42% of people clean their hotel room before using it – let’s hope the windows are included.
Public toilets also scored high in the sex stakes with 44% saying that they had sex in them.
The survey also asked about where the respondents fantasised about public sex.
On a balcony, at the beach, in a hot tub or swimming pool, hotel room at the window, and an outdoor shower or bath made up the top five.
But if you go down to the woods today you might be in for a big surprise as 41% of respondents said they had had sex in a wooded area or park. Bit chilly at this time of year…
