Personality and community are key.

What has been your biggest challenge to date?

Realising it’s quality over quantity that matters when it comes to posts and content.

Do you feel that bloggers are unfairly judged at times, if so why?

Yes – people believe they get lots of freebies but that’s not always the case. If bloggers do get PR product slot of works goes into sharing that content. There is a lot of work behind the scenes.

Bloggers are also overlooked in favour of a big following on social media platforms but really bloggers create content that is evergreen for a brand or businesses – Instagram stories only last 24 hours.

What advice would you give to someone wanting to start a blog/instagram page?

Just go for it but don’t be like everyone else. Think of your USP and what makes you you and use that to grow a community.

I love following Danielle Donoghue not only does she post great content she’s very relatable and can move from fashion to home wear and then to family and it all flows well.

What international blogger do you look up to and why?

Jenna Kutcher – she shares really valuable information and shows how you can diversify your income from blogging through multiple streams such as podcasting, courses, ebooks.
