Why did you decide to become a blogger/influencer?
To continue writing after university and to also let my parents know what I was up to in London.
Tell us something your followers might not already know about you?
I tried out my luck in acting from a young age, which didn’t pan out the way I’d hoped but not ruling it out in the future.
What would you consider your biggest achievement as a blogger/influencer?
Working with some incredible brands and reaching over 20k on Tiktok.
What would you consider the biggest lesson youāve learnt in the industry?
Always be grateful of anything you receive and to always be nice. Being rude gets you nowhere.
What has been your biggest challenge to date?
My biggest challenge has been going freelance as I went freelance in October 2019 and then the pandemic happened. I was relying on work to come in when I needed it and thankfully it did!
Do you feel that bloggers are unfairly judged at times, if so why?
Yes, I think they get tarred with the same brush as some ‘influencers’ do who inappropriately ask for free stays etc. I think there’s a way of going about it, rather than flaunting your numbers and thinking you’re entitled to a freebie.
What advice would you give to someone wanting to start a blog/instagram page?
Be consistent and never stop believing that you can achieve great things. Passion for what you’re writing is also important and to work hard at creating good content.
