Why did you decide to become a blogger/influencer?
It started as a hobbie and still is really, I post for me first and foremost. After a while, my following kept growing and so did the connections. I appreciate each and every person who has taken the time to follow me and engage with me, I love connecting with people.
Tell us something your followers might not already know about you?
I’m a hugger, like I really love a good hug, I think you can tell a lot about a person from a hug 🤗
What would you consider your biggest achievement as a blogger/influencer?
Probably stepping out of my comfort zone and learning how to put myself out there more. Also some amazing people I wouldn’t have met if it wasn’t for blogging.
What would you consider the biggest lesson you’ve learnt in the industry?
Definitely that there is still a lack of integrity missing from that world, a lot of things I would have done or attended even I wouldn’t do now. I want to be as real as I can so I don’t give a false persona. Also that it is important to take a break from it now and again, like anything you need balance in your life.
What has been your biggest challenge to date?
My biggest challenge is definitely all the ideas for posts or videos that I want to do Id love to start vlogging but at the minute with 2 young babies I just don’t have the time. I know everything doesn’t last forever either, I want to spend as much time with my family especially while the kids are this age as I possibly can, so I know that I will be able to do it all one day. For now though it’s taking each day as it comes.
Do you feel that bloggers are unfairly judged at times, if so why?
This industry has really opened my eyes to a lot of things, at the same time people can be so harsh . I think some people just like to complain though and be judge mental, I think people project a lot of their own issues on to other people, you are always going to get people like that, you have to take things with a pinch of salt but also own up to things if you mess up. No one is perfect and everyone learns and grows in their own way!
What advice would you give to someone wanting to start a blog/instagram page?
Just do your own thing and don’t ever worry about numbers, likes and followers! You can’t do it wrong just enjoy it.
What local blogger do you look up to and why?
Im sure most will say this but I love @girlyinspo___ she’s just real and true to herself and I want her wardrobe obviously!
What international blogger do you look up to and why?
@yasminechanel I’m a wee bit obsessed, she’s just gorgeous and chill and into vintage and 80s music, I just want to be her friend lol!
