Welcoming Back The Sound Of Belfast

The time has finally come for us to welcome back live music events and take in the rich culture of Belfast, and The Oh Yeah Music Centre has created the perfect programme of events to do just that.

The Sound of Belfast festival is an annual celebration of the vibrant music scene across the city, showcasing its local talent and highlighting its wonderful independent venues.

You can expect to see unmissable live gigs, workshops and Q&A sessions in their two week programme.

Make sure to check out the jam packed programme of events from 4th to 18th November, with a mix of online and in person events.

Here are 6 of the Sound of Belfast events you shouldn’t miss this November.

1. True North (Featuring Gareth Dunlop and Jealous of the Birds)

4th November – 8pm

Oh Yeah Music Centre

Kicking off this year’s Sound of Belfast programme, you’ll hear the live rendition of True North which brings together the musical stylings of Gareth Dunlop and Jealous of the Birds. The two local talents were brought together by Oh Yeah Music Centre after the venue invited two artists of different genres to create music about what Belfast means to them.

Both acts will perform their own music on the night as well as their collaborative creations.
