News In Brief: Northern Ireland Worst Hit By Rising Energy Costs

Northern Ireland is the region worst hit by rising energy costs according to a new study.

The research conducted by heating experts Boiler Central have found that residents in Northern Ireland spend 40% more on heating and electricity per week than they do on rent.

Households in NI also spend 32% more than the average household on gas and electricity.
