Celebrities need mum friends too – and Gwyneth Paltrow has her new pal to thank for keeping her up to date with the latest lingo.
Perhaps an unconventional pairing – Kim Kardashian is actually besties with Gwyneth.
Gifting her a brand new lingerie set, Kim is keeping Gwyneth not just in style, but in the loop.
This follows Kim K announcing a Fendi X Skims collaboration in which Kim’s shape wear empire embraces Fendi’s iconic branding.
The Fendi X Skims collaboration releases on November 9th, but Gwyneth is amongst the lucky few to get a sneak peek at the capsule collection.
Gwyneth partook in her first ever live unboxing video on Instagram on the 27th October, filmed by a mystery camera person whose face was hidden but thought to be her daughter Apple Martin.
The first item to be revealed was a bright pink FENDIxSKIMS package – queueing lots of excitement in the Paltrow household.
Opening the package, the cool mom unfurled a bodysuit and asked “what is that?” to which the young videographer replied “this is so you can get nice and snatched”.
To her bemusement, Gwyneth simply asked again “what is that?”.
She shortly received a brief lesson in just what the term meant. In the final clip of the unboxing, she wrote “I have now learned that “snatched” means I am killin it (?)” over the hilarious clip.
Gwyneth held up the garment whilst posing, pulling a duck face and asking again “Is this going to make me look snatched?”.
“Yeah, 100 percent, it’s going to snatch the house down,” the young camerawoman giggled back.
Kim’s PR package didn’t end there, however. Within the box held several items of lingerie as well as shape wear from the collaboration.
“I feel successful. Thank you @skims and @kimkardashian,” wrote a clearly delighted Gwyneth Paltrow in another slide.
