Staying in is still the new going out!
Only one in five of us are actually looking forward to Christmas parties this year, with the same proportion of us likely to give the office Christmas party a miss.
Instead, 40% of us are looking forward to cosy nights in or home parties with friends and family.
And this figure rises to 49% among those aged 18-25.
