Showbiz Briefs: Jamie Dornan Opens Up About Late Father

Actor Jamie Dornan has said that his father’s death and becoming a father himself has made him more ambitious in his career.

Dornan’s father, Dr Jim Dornan, died of COVID-19 in March at the age of 73.

In an interview with the New York Times, the 39-year-old opened up about succeeding for his children, and said it was a ‘caveman-esque’ necessity to deliver and provide for his ‘precious little people’.

He also said that his father’s passing ‘lit this extra fire’ inside of him and that he wants to ‘prove something’ to himself.
