News In Brief: One In Five Considering Using Food Banks This Christmas

Almost one in five people are considering using a food bank this Christmas in Northern Ireland.

According to a poll carried out by Censuswide for charity The Big Give, 19% of people said they might be in need of some extra help.

The survey found that Northern Ireland is also the most charitable region of the UK, with over three-quarters of people saying it is better to give gifts than receive them.
