The boy in Home Alone asking Santa Claus for his family back has been voted the most magical Christmas movie moment of all time.
Kevin McCallister, played by Macaulay Culkin, was also at number two on the list for a scene in the 1990 film in which he throws a pretend party to keep the burglars away.
The study reveals 63% of people say watching a Christmas movie officially marks the start of the festive season for them.
Almost half of us say watching a festive film makes them feel nostalgic and 42% said it builds their excitement for the big day.
