An XXL nightie worn by Queen Victoria around 140 years ago is up for auction.
It’s expected to fetch up to £11,000. Victoria wore the lace garments after she ballooned following the death of her husband, Prince Albert.
Though Victoria was only 4ft 11in and petite when she became queen at 18, her waist expanded to 50 inches over the decades.
They will be sold by Hansons, in Etwall, Derbys later today.
