The Department of Environment and Rural Affairs have confirmed that there are currently six cases of Avian Flu in Northern Ireland.
The wild birds were found at Belfast Waterworks, the Harbour Estate in Belfast and Monlough Lake near Carryduff.
The public are being urged to contact the Department of Agriculture should they discover dead waterfowl or gulls, or five or more dead wild birds of other species in the same location.
