Actors from Kenneth Branagh’s new film ‘Belfast’ and Channel 4 comedy ‘Derry Girls’ have been cast in a new superhero comedy series coming to Disney+.
Máiréad Tyers, who plays Auntie Eileen in the award-winning film, and Siobhán McSweeney who is known for playing Sister Michael in Derry Girls, have been announced as two of the leading cast members for Extraordinary.
The eight-episode series is described as an irreverent comedy, in which a young woman lives in a world where everyone has superpowers except her.
