How did you get started in the industry?

I always say it was by mistake, but I wouldn’t change a thing!

What genre / style do you create in?

All things Circus.

What would you be best known for?

Being Kasper’s mum! Also for co running one of the most successful circus companies in Ireland/ Northern Ireland.

What would you consider your biggest achievement?

Making a living as a circus performer for over 20 years.

What would you consider to be the biggest lesson you’ve learned in your industry?

Never give up.

What has been your biggest challenge to date?

online pharmacy buy prednisone no prescription

Getting back into circus after giving birth.

Tell us a little about your personal life, are you married, kids, hobbies etc?

I have an amazing family with Grant Goldie and Kasper (aged 7).

We are not married, although I have realised once you have a child together people automatically think you are wife and husband here. I have been meaning to pick up a hobby, but haven’t been able to find something that I like as much as circus! I love growing vegetables in the garden and going for hikes in one of the many incredible places Northern Ireland has to offer.

Tell us about your most recent work?

Winter Circus. A non-traditional circus show in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter in our heated big top.

We want to create an event for families and friends to go together during the Christmas season, but it’s alternative, different and not commercial.

What would you like us to tell people about?

WINTER CIRCUS!!!

Taking place in Writers’ Square this festive season, from 17th December 2021 to 3rd January 2022.

If you had to describe your work to someone who has never heard of you what would you say?

All human, all skill. It’s circus, but not what you’d expect.

What’s the funniest experience you’ve had in your business?

Funny, but not funny ha ha, was when my index fingernail got ripped off on stage during a pillow fight. I ran backstage, found some tape, taped my finger and went back on stage and finished the show with our doubles trapeze act

(we reworked the pillow fight after that)

What would your advice be to young people hoping to pursue the same industry?

Never give up! Stay true to yourself and what you want to do and make the world around you a better place.

Anything else you want to tell people about yourself or your work?

Come to Winter Circus!

Who do you look up to and why?

Acrobat – an Australian circus company. They are incredible!

Winter Circus will take place from 17th December 2021 to 3rd January 2022. To book tickets, go to wegottickets.com/JossersBigTop
