A cost of living ‘storm’ will engulf millions of us this Christmas amid soaring bills and falls in pay, a study shows.
Real wages this month are on course to be 0.8% lower than in September, a TUC report says this morning.
According to the study, workers are set to have the worst ‘Christmas wage squeeze’ in nearly a decade.
Pay has grown by 0.8% in the last three months — half the rate of inflation (1.6%).
