Asda Living Belfast colleague, Colin Dixon has been commended by a customer for delivering outstanding customer service whilst they were having difficulties installing a media system. The customer was so delighted with the service he received that he returned with a thank you card for Colin.
The customer, whose wife suffers from dementia, had purchased a TV and DVD player and had returned to the store for some advice. Colin recognised the customer and immediately offered his help.
The helpful Asda colleague patiently explained everything to the customer despite having finished his shift 30 minutes earlier. He talked through the installation and operations of the products and kindly provided his personal mobile number should the customer have had any difficulties.
General Assistant Colin Dixon said:
“I had met the gentleman instore a couple of times before with his wife. When I learned that he was having problems I was more than happy to help.”
“It is always confusing when you get a new system, and I knew he was struggling so I offered to help. I would never see anyone stuck and I love being able to help my customers and the interaction that my role provides.”
Sandra Brown, Replen Manager at Asda Living Belfast, said:
“Colin is a great asset to our team at Asda Living Belfast and our customers love him. He’s always willing to help and goes out of his way daily to ensure our customers receive excellent customer service. Thank you for your all of your hard work, Colin!”
