Asda Living Belfast Colleague Goes Above And Beyond For Customer

Asda Living Belfast colleague, Chelsea Anderson, has been commended for going above and beyond for an 83-year-old customer who visited the store to purchase a microwave.

The lady approached Chelsea and asked for some help to pick out a microwave. Chelsea helped the customer to choose a microwave that suited her home and helped the lady downstairs whilst carrying the microwave, put it through the till herself so she didn’t have to wait and carried it out to the lady’s car.

The lady was extremely grateful and when she called the store to share some feedback, said she had never received service like this in her life.

Asda Living Belfast colleague Chelsea said: ‘’I was more than happy to help this lady! She thought the store opened at 8am however it doesn’t open until 9am, so she had been waiting outside for an hour and was quite agitated when she got in. I struck up a conversation with her, helped her pick a suitable microwave, carried it to the till and then out to her car when she was ready to go.’’

Anthony Quinn, General Manager at Asda Living Belfast, added: ‘’Chelsea is a fantastic colleague, and she regularly goes out of her way to ensure our customers are happy. The lady she helped was delighted with the service Chelsea provided, in fact she said it was the best service she had ever received in her life. This is no surprise to me – we are very proud of Chelsea, and we value her hard work here at Asda Living Belfast!’’
